Windows Vista’s retail boxes revealed
•December 26, 2006 • 1 CommentPrepare your eyes over the new boxes of the new Windows Vista. Microsoft made plastic instead of a cardboard. I guess environmentalist will have a say on these plastics - less environmentally friendly.
The earliest versions of Windows XP Home and Professional editions were in blue color. Now, each Vista version gets its own colour code. I hope that the Operating system is as good as the colour looks.

Sony PS3 Premium 60GB Available for Pre-Order
•September 30, 2006 • 29 Comments
The Premium Sony PS3 with 60GB and HDMI for pre-order to be shipped international.
Whole sale price for the 60GB Sony PS3 is not set by Sony in Japan, the distributors make their own price. That leads to Audio Cubes offering the 60GB Sony PS3 for the rather high price of $999.
The price also factors in some of the excess shipping cost for the PS3. The pricing for the 60GB PS3 in Europe would be 599 Euro ($761). So we look at a premium of about $240 you have to pay extra to get your hands on a PS3 early in Europe.
If you live outside of the United States or Japan, the only way to get a PS3 this winter is to import it. The 60GB Sony PS3 features the HDMI interface, which I consider as important. The Japanese Sony PS3 shares the region-code with the US Sony PS3 release. If you live in Europe you need to import US or Japan Blu-ray movies.
Microsoft’s Zune Player to Cost $249.99
•September 29, 2006 • Leave a Comment
Microsoft has finally announced pricing and a release date for its much-hyped Zune media player. The company said it will charge $249.99 for the device - the same as Apple’s 30GB iPod, which retails for $249 (I bought mine for $299.99 five months ago, hmmm). Microsoft will launch both the Zune and its companion digital music service on November 14th. The Zune music service will charge 99 cents for individual songs and $14.99 per month for a subscription service.
Will it be a threat for Apple’s iPod??????
Pre-release of Nokia N95
•September 29, 2006 • 4 CommentsNokia N95 Mobile Phone

Nokia introduced the Nokia N95, an all-in-one multimedia computer with a pioneering 2-way slide concept, integrated GPS functionality, a 5 megapixel camera and support for high-speed networks, making it easier to watch and record videos, listen to songs, take high-quality photos, browse the internet, or catch up on email while on the move.
Most importantly, the Nokia N95 is with you and connected when you want to use it.” The innovative 2-way slide concept makes it easy to switch between different modes, going from reading maps to watching a video with a simple slide. A numeric keypad slides out from one end of the device while dedicated media keys slide out from the opposite direction, converting the display into full screen landscape mode. With powerful 3D graphics, the Nokia N95 has a stunning user interface that makes it intuitive to find the features and services you want.
Nokia N95 mobile phone – GPS intergrated With its integrated GPS at your fingertips, finding your way just got easier. The Maps application includes maps for more than 100 countries, enabling users to explore the world, find specific routes or locate services such as restaurants and hotels and covering more than 15 million points of interest. You can also purchase additional features, such as voice guided navigation.
The news says it will be sold during Q1 of 2007 for $700(USD). I find it cheap compared to buying a separate 3G enabled mobile phone, Camcorder, a 5MP camera, GPS, MP3 player w/ radio and a wifi Internet Browser.
Aint’t it cool? Started saving already!!!
